Tillandsia achyrostachys (mescalito)

Rosettes of thin, pliant leaves to about eight inches tall. The usually unbranched inflorescences have green bracts and chartreuse flowers. Uncommon in Sonora, restricted to a few wet canyons in tropical deciduous forest and oak woodland. Ranges south to Oaxaca.
